DIY Advent calendar

Advent calendar DIY

I know that this article might be a bit late for this year, but I wanted to show you how I created an advent calendar, and how you can reproduce it very easily.
Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of all the steps, but I hope that you will be able to understand everything without them.
It's not difficult, so let's do it!

You will need:
- 24 cardboard cups (christmas theemed if possible)
- A hot glue gun
- Origami paper
- Liquid glue
- A paint brush
- Cartoon circles that you will already have cut out ( they have to be as big as the whole in the cups)
- Pretty markers
- Paint

First, glue the cardboard cups together, with your glue gun, and make 5 staggered levels. The first level has to have 6 cups, the second one 5 etc... until you get a christmas tree.

Then, glue the three cardboard cups left, under the christmas tree, to create the tree trunk.

Decorate your cardboard circle how you want, with paint, origami paper and liquid glue, pearls, sprinkles...and write the numbers on them with your markers.

Now, you only need to fill in the cups, and close them with the cardboard circles. I only pushed the circles into the cups. Be carefull, you have to put the heavier presents at the bottom.

Here are some filling ideas that I found for you: biscuits, coupons, challenges, little things such as make-up, photos, recipes...

I hope that you like it, tell me if you do, it would make me very happy!
